The Australian Boat Race boasts a longstanding tradition between Australia’s two oldest Universities, Sydney and Melbourne. Held annually, the event encapsulates the rivalry between two great cities and two great universities.
Unfortunately, this year, due to COVID-19 and its impacts on travel, sport and mass gatherings, a mutual decision was made by The University of Sydney and The University of Melbourne to cancel the event.
Both universities look forward to coming together next year for the 2021 Australian Boat Race.
